At Lima, the "City of Kings", capital of Peru, and one of the largest cities in South America, you will visit amazing places like the impressive Plaza de Armas, a 16th- century cathedral, the Museo Larco with a unique collection of pre-Columbian art, the archeological site Huaca Pucllana, and the Museo de la Nación, tracing the history of Peru’s ancient civilizations, amongst may other fascinating places.

 

This expedition will also take you to the Sacred Valley, a region of fertile farmland and colonial villages in the Andean highlands, which was the heart of the Inca Empire, along with the nearby town of Cusco and the ancient city of Machu Picchu. 

 

You will visit the beautiful city of Cusco, capital of the Inca Empire, known for its archaeological remains and Spanish colonial architecture, and of course, the majestic Machu Picchu, a 15th century citadel at 2,430 meters above sea-level, in the middle of a tropical mountain forest with captivating buildings, and a religious, ceremonial, astronomical and agricultural centre filled with mysteries that still remain unresolved,
